About Me

My name is Alexa Young

Hi! I'm Aidan! I'm a Christian, and everything I do flows from that. I was a competitive boxer for 6 years, with 7 sanctioned bouts and a Golden Gloves 145 lb state championship under my belt. After stepping away from the ring, I fell in love with weightlifting. I spent hours training, researching, and just soaking up as much as I could about how the body works and how to grow stronger.

At the end of the day, I love fitness because I love training the body God has given me. As a temple of the Holy Spirit, I want to bring my body under discipline—not just for performance, but as a way to glorify God with what He’s entrusted to me. Fitness is a way to cultivate discipline, resilience, and character formation - all in the direction of godliness.

Sanctified Strength

Sanctified Strength exists to glorify God by equipping believers to steward their bodies with excellence, purpose, and discipline. We believe that our bodies are not our own, but temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19–20), and that physical training, while of some value, serves a greater purpose when it's rooted in godliness (1 Timothy 4:8).

Through Christ-centered coaching, biblical encouragement, and consistent training, our aim is to help men and women grow not only in strength, but in submission—bringing every part of life, including fitness, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Romans 12:1). We train with intention, knowing that whether we eat, drink, lift, or rest, we do it all for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).

"Aidan is a really great trainer. I used to hate the gym, but now I love it. I've lost 20lbs and I'm still going strong. Training with Aidan is worth it."
